Alaçatı Big Fish Tournament “Big Fish” takes place every year in September and October.

Alaçatı's traditional "Big Fish" Tournament not only gathers Turkey's greatest fishing line masters alongside Turkish teams but also international teams together. It is one of the most significant fishing tournaments in Europe considering the number of participants and audience. During the tournament apart from the excitement of the tournament itself, there are sponsorship events, workshops and activities for kids. After each day, with the participation of both the contestants and audience, people come together and eat, drink and dance in a festival mood.
